In 1985 a family moved to Hilo from a local church in Stuttgart, Germany. This was the answer to the prayers of an older couple in Hilo who were seeking the fellowship of church meetings. The two families had not previously known each other. They began meeting together and eventually were led by the Lord to begin meeting as the church for His testimony in Hilo. Subsequently, others in Hilo joined in this fellowship to share the rich enjoyment of Christ in simplicity and in oneness.
